The Children’s Place Association

The Children's Place Association, based in Chicago, is a non-profit organization that assists children, mainly around Chicago, who are disadvantaged in some manner. I find the struggle to make a change for young children while failing to address their parents is a problem. Parents and teachers spend the majority of their tie with the kids and, therefore, should also be considered so that they are effective. The organization has also limited itself to the Chicago region, which hinders its effort to raise a better society. This is because the community they envision cannot be comprised of Chicago children alone. To solve this issue, the organization should scale up its operations and incorporate the broader community as parents and those from other geographic regions.
